Hello doodles! Yesterday, after a long day of working & running around (the usual) I headed to the Limelight Marketplace to view Edwing D'Angelo's 'Le Royale American' resort show (You can view some pictures here). The show had both womenswear & menswear- which I loved. The looks were fresh and innovative. There was a mix of basic pieces with a unique twist and bold colors. The makeup and hair were left simple yet summer chic. All of the pieces were wonderful but I absolutely loved the final look- high waisted wide legged denim trousers with suspenders paired with a sheer blouse with awesome poof sleeves. It was simple yet stunning. And that necklace paired with it all? PERFECT. Like a cherry on an ice cream sundae.
(Yes, I know it's pictured below but I just had to express my love for the look. Gosh.)

The fabulous twins Coco & Breezy happened to be at the show as well! They're super cool and down to earth. I love their style and their ability to rock awesome makeup & hairstyles & sunnies (which you SHOULD purchase here). I truly appreciate anyone who has the confidence to be unique & wear what they want without worrying about what others think. Two truly inspirational girls!
| Gucci specs, MAC Surf, Baby! Lipstick in Hibiscus, American Apparel oversized chiffon button up, Zara skinny zip jeans, Jeffrey Campbell brocade Foxy Fabs. The dress code called for 'New York chic' and what's more chic than pairing classic pieces (such as a white button down, red lipstick & "jeans") with updated accessories, some killer shoes (literally), and a bun (if you haven't noticed by now, I have a slight obsession with throwing my hair into a bun)? I was feeling nerdy NY chic & chose to wear my Gucci specs (which happen to be prescription lenses, no hipster status up in here). Hope you're all having a lovely day! Kissies. |

Love the outfit!! I often pair button downs in the same way :) and the necklace adds a great touch!
