Hello, hello (cue that Hello song by Dragonette). I started off my weekend by venturing out in the rain at 3am on Friday morning to go see Florence & The Machine perform on Good Morning America (I really do hope you think I've lost my marbles). Regardless of how crazy you think I am, it was a lovely experience, really. Except because of the rain, there was no sunrise. Which was kind of a disappointment (however, my disappointment dwindled later on when I caught a sunflower hehe). Flowers covered every inch of the stage & instruments. Though Florence only sang two songs, it was still a wonderful mini concert (& she happened to sound even better live than on an album. I bet you can't do that. I know I can't).
Incidentally, Florence & I happened to be wearing very similar hats.
WOULDCHA LOOK AT THAT?
And if you can't figure it out from the pictures below, I was having a lovely time using my prized flowers a prop during the shoot. Flower children these days..
After the concert, we wandered around Central Park searching for a place to hide from the rain (though my hat and trusty poncho did most of the sheltering). Luckily, we found this hallway with some beautiful mosaics, architecture, and bums. Gotta love the bums.
Vintage hat, pearl necklace & Facconable polo, Lucky Brand embroidered poncho, Longchamp bag bought in Italy (pictured below), American Apparel bike shorts, Steve Madden oxfords.
When the rain died down...
I JUMPED FOR JOY!!!
..And went to go enjoy the view of the nice, green, algae infested lake YUMMY.
Hope you all had a ravishing weekend!
Kissies.
