Anderson & Lauth dress, Jeffrey Campbell Brocade Foxy Fabs.

Yet another picture of my Foxy Fabs. & introducing my cousin's awesome shoes
(though I don't remember where she got em.)
Meet Ashley. She's pretty awesome. & the owner of the fabulous shoes above.
Plus her makeup is pretty cool.

Hello all. Hope your weekend was as busy & fun as mine (though I don't have many pictures for proof, shame on me.) K. So. Anyway. Saturday night I went to a graduation party. I had no clue what to wear (what else is new?) & after staring blankly into my closet for about an hour I spotted the lovely dress shown in picture1. This beauty was created by Anderson & Lauth (whoever they are, they're pretty awesome in my book) and I found it at Urban Outfitters a few years ago. I love how it's so simple yet it makes such a statement (and how it matches my new favorite shoes, bwhaha). I decided to throw my hair up into a bun, partly because it was 90 degrees, partly because I love the effortlessness of a bun, and partly because I didn't feel like taming my fro (I don't really have a fro, the humidity just gives off the impression of one. Duh).

Pashmina turned cape, American Apparel chiffon button up, ex boyfriend jeans turned shorts,  sandals from Greece.
Sunday, I went to a barbecue. And had a migraine. I'm sure you can tell from the picture, since I look dead or tired or something. I decided to show my 'American pride' by wearing red & blue. Go me. Patriotism. Anyway. So, what fun is having a boyfriend if you can't steal his clothes? (I bet you have no clue where I'm going with this). Well, I can reassure you all that I certainly do not have a boyfriend BUT I have an ex boyfriend. And I happen to have had his jeans. And got bored. And cut them. Into shorts. HA. They fit me pretty well actually, so why not? Maybe I'm fat? Maybe he's skinny? Let's go with he's skinny & that I most definitely rock these better than he ever could.
ps-more pictures of the shorts coming soon, since I basically live in them.
& last but not least.. What is it that I could possibly be showing you? My lack of a manicure? My messy computer room? My awesome double finger ring that breaks every other day? NO SILLIES. I happen to be sharing with you my latest innovation.. a belt bracelet. Yes. A belt, as a bracelet. See, great things come from boredom. You see, I get bored quickly & half way through the day, I decided I no longer wanted to wear my belt.. But where to put it? Certainly not around my head. So. Around my wrist it went. And I actually got compliments. I think I'm on to something here..
