Hello, hello! Life has been busier than usual lately but with my (partial) day off, I took the time to inspire you all with not one but TWO outfits for the big event tonight.. FASHION'S NIGHT OUT, DUH. Don't say I don't appreciate you. I'm just trying to make up for lost time. Anyway, moving on. To me, FNO is a good excuse to dress up and put together an outfit that you wouldn't wear on a daily basis. Or maybe you would. Knowing me, I would.

OUTFIT #1: Lately, though I have no picture proof to show you, I've been all for light, soft, flowy fabrics and silhouettes mixed with hard, edgy pieces. Like a rocker and a fairy had a baby, kind of. But not really. So. My rocker fairy baby would look like this: an awesome flowy maxi complete with an embellished bodice, a loose, worn in plaid button down (left open), and an asymmetrical leather vest. BUT WAIT, IT GETS BETTER. Now that you have the base of your super cool, kick ass FNO outfit, we add not so much a "pop" of color but some color with ruby red suede booties. I bet Dorothy would trade in her sequin things for those any day. Lalala. Then add some jewelry, fun nail color, and an oversized fringe clutch. Don't forget your camera aaand it looks as if you're ready to go!

Now. Since OUTFIT #1 was such a big hit, you might want to help out your best friend and tell her about OUTFIT #2. Or vise versa. Whatever you decide, make sure you do tell her 'cause good best friends are hard to come by.
OUTFIT #2: As you can see, I'm sticking with my rocker fairy baby theme. Thematic dressing, my friends. Anyway. For this outfit, we take a cutesy embroidered dress and throw an oversized black button down (left open) over it- make sure you take the tag off, folks. Then, since you now just look weird and unfinished, we add a utility vest over everything. Don't ask me why, but we just do. Slip into some comfy loafers and then it's TIME TO ACCESSORIZE. Which is something I was never really a big fan of but, people change. So make like Yankee Doodle and stick a feather in your hat and atop your head, grab a leopard print oversized clutch, add some vintage inspired jewelry and GO OUT ON THE TOWN.

Have a lovely Fashion's Night Out, everyone!
