Though
New York is rich with culture, diversity, and inspiration, I sometimes
begin to feel my everyday schedule becoming rather mundane. I love traveling (whether it's a short distance or a million miles away) and
experiencing other cultures and their ways of life. Incidentally,
exactly a year ago I was on a plane to travel around Europe (Spain, Italy, and Greece).
However, today I'm writing this post from Virginia Beach while sitting
on the beach staring out into the beautiful, clear Atlantic. Europe & Virgina are clearly two very different places and are both extremely different from New York (HAVING SAID THAT..ALL 3 HAPPEN TO HAVE MULTIPLE STARBUCKS LOCATIONS- WHEW).
Being away from the every day hustle & bustle and constant running
around is quite calming and gives me time to relax and find inspiration in
different places and objects. Pictured above is a little inspiration board I've been working on (via polyvore) for an upcoming project (which clearly involves neon & bright colors- but that's all I'm saying for now)..
Hope you all enjoy your holiday weekend! Who's wearing stars & stripes/ red, white & blue?
(NOT ME. But not because I'm not patriotic or anything, I just forgot to pack celebratory attire- a result of packing merely 4 hours before we left).
Kissies!
