 I feel as if I say this more often than I should but PLEASE FORGIVE ME for disappearing for a week yet again. Anyway, you kind of have to forgive me. Whether you like it or not. 'Cause it's my birthday week. Yup. So now that I'm forgiven and you've wished me a more heartfelt birthday wish than some people I've known for years, let's cut to the chase. You've probably been wondering where I've disappeared to all week. Or maybe you don't even care. But I'll tell you anyway. Bwhaha.

I was pleasantly surprised when I found out that I had the beginning of the week off of work and took the opportunity to enhance my tan by chinchillin' at the beach. Plus, I recently purchased two bathing suits so I had a reason to show 'em off. Though my lace kaftan is stealing the spotlight in the pictures above.. So much for showing off the bathing suit. I found this marvelous lace kaftan at Free People last week & I'm pretty sure I've worn it almost every day since. I tend to over abuse my clothing, shoes, and accessories- in the most loving way possible. Too much love doesn't hurt anyone, right? 

We took these pictures at the conclusion of our day so I'd be nice and sandy/salty for ya'll. Ya know, to get the whole 'beachy' feel. I just wanted to be legit. As we were admiring the unusual musky yellow and grey sunset, it started to pour! NO JOKE. You probably think there's a rain cloud that hovers over my head wherever I go. I think I'm going to have to agree with you. Now that we've come to a solution, I believe it would be sagacious of me to invest in a little something called an umbrella. I'd even let you stand under it. However, I've been admiring some shoes from afar for quite some time.. and I'd much rather have new rockin' shoes than an umbrella. 

To prove my love for you all, I've already planned my next post- so we don't miss each other too much.
