After about three long, depressing, rainy weeks, the weather finally lightened up. I assume you could guess that I had no problem leaving my umbrella & raincoat behind while venturing out to enjoy the weather. I opted to let my legs break free from pants & tights by choosing to wear one of my new favorite summer pieces- an accordion pleated (maxi) skirt. I love the vivid color and the way it flows. After seeing this post, I decided to give the 'knotted maxi' look a try. I think it updates the look & I definitely plan to try it with my (many) other maxis.
